How many people can say that they’ve toured with Miles Davis, written underscore for Star Trek: The Next Generation, performed and programmed music for Finding Nemo and Skyfall, taken the helm as Music Director for Steely Dan, arranged for American Idol, produced UNESCO's Jazz Day concerts in Paris and Istanbul and earned Grammy nominations for their own acclaimed records? John Beasley can. This musical jack-of-all-trades has lived the life of ten musicians, composing, recording, touring, music directing and lecturing throughout his 30 years of professional music making. Beasley’s genre-crossing career has required both incredible talent and a willingness to wear many musical hats. His story continues to be an inspiring one, and he’ll tell it like it is in this candid master session.
