Creative Manager – Rondor Music International

Ashley Calhoun was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She moved to Los Angeles in the fall of 2009 to study audio engineering at The Los Angeles Recording School. While in school, she began managing producers and interned for Lex Borrero and DJ Skee. After graduating, Calhoun landed an assistant job with Cash Money Records Head of A&R, Joshua Berkman. Always interested in music publishing, she transitioned into publishing in late 2011, joining Rondor Music International as Creative Manager. At Rondor, Calhoun works with a wide variety of songwriters spanning music of all genres, including tyDi, Melanie Fontana, Prince Charlez, and The Fliptones, to name a few. Her responsibilities as Creative Manager include discovering and signing new songwriters, setting up songwriter collaborations, and pitching songs.
